When I recall my earliest food memories, I am again this girl in a cozy kitchen imbued with delicious smells. The smells that are the most evocative when it comes to food and the most sensory of them all is the smell of coffee. I couldn’t wait to grow up to be allowed to have the massive cups of coffee served with delicious slices of fruit cake; to me, that was the essence of adulthood.

 2 cups coffee, strong and fresh brewed
 1 cup coconut milk
 ¼ cup pumpkin puree
 1 tsp pumpkin spice blend
 1 tsp vanilla extract
  cup heavy whipping cream
 2 tsp butter
 ½ tsp powder Stevia

Gather all the ingredients.

Brew the coffee.

In the meantime, heat the milk, pumpkin, butter and the spices in a deep pan for two minutes, over medium heat. Add two cups of coffee to the mix and stir well. Remove from the heat, add half the amount of cream and stevia to the coffee mix and whisk while smooth.

Serve with the remaining whipped cream on top.
